A view of the Goodrum and Vincent Used Car Lot on Santa Monica Boulevard. Goodrum and Vincent was an important Santa Monica Buick dealership in the 1920s and was originally located on Fifth Street and Colorado Avenue. In 1935 the dealership moved to 1501 Santa Monica Boulevard.

Another sign on the side of the bus indicates that it ran along Santa Monica Boulevard. Bay Cities Transit was a privately owned company that serviced Santa Monica along with the city-owned Santa Monica Municipal Bus Lines.

Two men shaking hands and exchanging sales papers for a new Chevrolet behind the Ocean Park Arena. One of the men is Michael Hirsch, the boxing and wrestling promoter at the arena located at 1913 Main Street. Partial signage on the building promotes the arena's amateur boxing. The arena opened on Main Street in 1933, but later in the decad,e moved to a Pico Boulevard venue.
