Title Billboard for Leslie Salt at Colorado Avenue Intersection, 1945
Date 1945/10/11
Description An advertising billboard for Leslie Salt stands next to an unidentified wood frame building. The billboard shows a bowl of salad greens next to a container of Leslie Salt with the tag line "Season with Leslie". The billboard is owned by Foster and Kleiser. The sign on the building in the background reads "Blacksmithing - Springs". Additional signs are visible for US Tires and Jeffway Iron Works. Painted sign on the curb reads: "Colorado Ave - 700 Blk".

Notes on the negative sleeve indicate that these buildings and the billboard may have been on land obtained by Patten Blinn Lumber Company in 1945 for expansion of their lumber yard on Colorado Avenue between 6th and 7th Streets.
