Roy Jones family home at 1007 Ocean Avenue. The house was built by the son of Santa Monica's co-founder, Senator John P. Jones, in late 1894. The architect was Sumner P. Hunt, and it is the earliest known example of the American Colonial Revival style. It was moved from its site on Ocean Avenue in 1977 to 2612 Main Street and became the site of the California Heritage Museum in 1981. It is #9 on the City of Santa Monica list of designated landmarks.
